it's official: you can feel better about all that candy you ate this halloween. that's right. you heard correctly. I hereby absolve you of any guilt you may have had from buying the bigger-than-a-toddler size bag of halloween candy at the store! chances are, you were supporting a eco-conscious company with a finger in high fashion!
Ecoist and Mars have gotten together and launched a line of cute as can be bags and purses all made from recycled candy wrappers and food packaging. presenting the M&M's collection! these bags are chic and so much fun! by taking obsolete candy wrappers and other packaging misprints, Ecoist is transforming things that would have been trash into incredible treasures! (that's called "upcycling", divas, and it's what Ecoist is all about!) there's something for everyone's sweet tooth...look for skittles, twix (my personal favorite), snickers and starburst wrappers to appear soon too.
seem too childish? naw, no way! there are designs that are more subtle and sophisticated for those that don't want something too obvious. if you prefer just a little bit of fun to tuck away, this every/any candy bag or a coin purse is the ticket!
