places that pamper: nitespa in venice, ca!

after a day of walking the boardwalk and shopping the shops around venice beach, you're gonna be tired (and your feet are most likely going to be hurting!). in need of some pampering and in dire need of pedicures, my dear friend Rhi and i turned to nitespa for some salvation.

the front door to the nitespa bungalow

nitespa is open...you guessed it, at night! the hours from noon until midnight, tuesday through sunday lend them to the casual and posh hollywood-like atmosphere that is venice california...and hollywood does flock to this place! featured in instyle magazine and a fav of stars like mena suvari and rosario dawson, nitespa's got it going on!

from the moment you walk in, you feel like you're at a girlfriend's house: welcome, warm, relaxed. the decor is funky, but classy, pulled together and fresh. as we were welcomed in we were offered a comfy couch in front of a table with smatterings of all my fav trashy gossip magazines with a glass of wine (i'm in heaven already)!

our appointments started with... tarot card readings! at nitespa you can get a tarot card reading or palm reading from a on call professional with your service for an extra fee if you choose. if readings are something you enjoy, i can honestly say our experience was top notch.

readings or no, the pedicure deluxe ($65 USD) is what we came for...and it was amazing! this pedicure was relaxing and rejuvinating..there wasn't any yanking, pulling, or even harsh scrubbing (i'm still trying to figure out how my feet were so smooth!). everything was gentle, precisie and my toes twinkled in the moonlight as we walked out of that little pink bungalow!

the offerings at nitespa range from massages to manicures, waxes to facials to a knightspa for men and everything in between! there's even a hangover makeover for those that need to recover from a long night out on the town. all services are by appointment only, so make sure to call ahead and secure a reservation! this gem of a spa is located at 490 santa clara in venice, california. this is an experience not to be missed!
