handy, dandy hamadi

i'm always on the lookout for products that will take care of my curls, more importantly, keep them hydrated. in winter, this can be quite the task! i use conditioner in the shower, a leave-in conditioner when i get out, and at least a couple of styling products before i call it good...or i should say i used to....

hamadi's shea hair cream is my current salvation. it's everything: conditioner, leave-in and styling cream all in one!! here's the kicker...it actually works. i've been using it for almost a month now, and my hair has actually become less frizzy overall, which is really saying something. the essential oils that are used, along with the shea, really melt into the hair and make it super managable and soft, not to mention smelling wonderful. i really don't use anything else in the mornings anymore. i just jump out of the shower, rub some into my hands, apply and i'm done! you don't have to use a ton either. this formula goes a long way, so it's actually quite cost effective.

as for travel, may i suggest one of my best packing tips: ziploc 'twist and loc' containers. ladies, these were sent from God! take any conditioner, body balm, goop, whatever you have, and a spatula: scoop some of your product into one of these containers and lock it. you won't run the risk of it 'burping' open on the plane and it's easy to get your product back out of the container if you don't use it all while your out of town! horray!
