undead and unwed

if you're looking for that special book to take you away from the lengthy security lines at the airport, travel delays or annoying travel companions (invited or otherwise) that accompany any trip, have i got one for you.

in maryjanice davidson's book, undead and unwed, betsy ends her horribly bad day with, what else, her death. she awakes to find out that she's a vampire. and not any vampire -- but the prophosized queen of the vampires. but all of betsy's new powers seem to only get her in trouble and make her the primary target of the current ruler of the vampires, Nostro. With the help of her friends and the gorgeous, sexy and oh-so-untrustworthy Sinclair, betsy is on her way to kick some butt -- if she's not sidetracked by the latest shoe sale.

a cross between sex & the city and buffy the vampire slayer, undead and unwed is a sexy and hilarious read for anyone who likes their heroines feisty and with a fetish for designer shoes.

Wendy, if you like Buffy, then you'll love all of Betsy and her crew. No other heroine is as sassy or stylish when kicking monster butt!
