one thing the divas truly love is the fact that we can find so many fun and compact additions to our makeup bags these days, and at very reasonable prices. check out these finds from n.y.c. (new york color - can be found in most local drugstores):

new york, if i can make it there ...
$4.99
this extra-fat pencil is primer in stick form. pretty wonderful stuff for on the road. just swipe across forehead, nose and chin and blend with fingertips. can be worn alone over moisturizer, or as a base for foundation. our editor has tried it both ways, and it works quite nicely.
$4.99
like the antishine stick, this is foundation in a stick form. no messy spills ... ever! just don't leave it in a hot car *shudder*. again, great slim-line packability for your limited carry on allowance. swipe a few lines where you need coverage, then blend with a damp sponge or fingertips. perfect form for spot coverage - just use as you would a pencil concealer! our editor loves the way you can accurately control the coverage every time.
$1.99
these pencil formulas are fatter than most, so make sure you pick up a sharpener designed to fit. this one (#981) is made by n.y.c. so it's perfect for freshening up these beautifying wonders.
all these little n.y.c. lovelies are so inexpensive, you should pick up a few and play around with them at home on the weekends. you might just find a new favorite for your carry on bag!
