we try to stick to carry on and travel products as much as possible, but sometimes we run across a product that simply needs a spotlight, travel or not. such is the case with our latest crush: fekkai hair care.
what are we loving on this week?
3.4 0z. = $195
but, oh, is it marvelous stuff!
this splurge-worthy hair care product is unique in several ways. it is formulated to actually make your hair look more youthful. now, we've come upon many skin care products, and even makeup, that claim to turn back the clock, but we've never actually seen a hair care product that made that same claim. this one does, however, and its effects are cumulative over time.how to use it: smooth some of the lightly floral creme between your palms right before bedtime and work it into the hair from roots to ends. don't worry if you have product in your hair already - this stuff really penetrates, and not a lot is needed to get results. leaves no residue on your pillow, and the next morning you just wash and style as usual (if you go several days without washing your hair, no worries - it's gentle and helps to silken strands - great if you go the straightening iron route!). use about 2-3 times per week for best results.
what it does: helps to counteract the effects of pollution, harsher products, heat and cold, damage from chemical processing, even UV rays (which means it is great for helping to keep your expensive highlight job looking fabu!).
what we think: freakin' wonderful, especially for those who like sleeker styles. you may need a little more fiddling with your hair if you like the pouffy styles, but the softness is well worth the extra few minutes spent bouffant-ing it up while using this product.
worth it? oh yeah. it's pricey but great things that really work often are. highly recommended, in our humble opinions, as are virtually all fekkai products we've run across.
diva note: if you really want to take it with you on the road, you can. you just have to transfer a small amount to a carry on friendly container (for best results, make sure the smaller container can be closed airtight and is scrupulously clean before you transfer the product to it).
much hair love to fekkai!
